Charters on a 54ft Ketch for up to 50 guests
available on Sydney Harbour from November to late April |

This ketch rigged motor
sailing yacht combines the stability and comfort of a motor boat with the
serenity of a
sailing yacht. She is licensed for up to 70 guests but prefers to take
no more than 50 guests for absolute
comfort. The huge deck area is ideal for
entertaining and for maximum views of everything around you. If the
weather happens to deteriorate, the full canopy and encloseable aft deck
keeps the party going, in comfort and in
style. There are two toilets on board.
Weddings & Birthdays
Winner of the Annual
Bridal Industry Award for Excellence out of all the wedding reception
vessels in NSW in 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 and currently finalist in
the ABIA "Designer of Dreams" award for Best in whole of Australia . The yacht will go
into a quiet sheltered bay for the cutting of the wedding or birthday cake.
There is a microphone for your speeches.
Charter Rates
$450 PER HOUR (MINIMUM 4 HOURS) PLUS A 10% LOADING FOR NOVEMBER, DECEMBER
AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS i.e.
a 4hr charter in November, December or a Public Holiday costs = $1,980 inc GST
Drinks
quality bottled Australian champagne, red and white wine together with beer
and soft drinks served throughout the charter for just $10 per person per
hour inc GST
BYO Drinks
guests wanting to BYO drinks cannot use Man 'O War Steps or Darling Harbour
(Aquarium) as these are alcohol free zones. If guests want to use a CBD
wharf then it has to be Star City Casino Wharf. Other than that, the closest
to the City without incurring wharf fees is Thames Street Balmain
Note: no
surcharge for BYO if there are under 30 guests. If more than 30 guests
an extra deckhand is required by law and a surcharge of $50 per hour for the
extra deckhand with BYO catering. No surcharge on catered charters
(Yacht owners absorb this cost themselves).
Charter
Times
Charter time are set around lunch or dinner i.e.
for a lunchtime charter choose from 11am - 3pm,
12 noon - 4pm or 12.30pm to 4.30pm. Dinner charters commence from 6pm.
Pick up and
Drop Off from
any public jetties east of Balmain for no extra charge. Travelling
time from the city and back is charged for a pickup from Hunters Hill.
A $50 plus GST fee for CBD applies on pickups we have to book and pay for
i.e. Man O'War Steps, Aquarium Jetty, Star City. Pick up is not
available at King St Wharf.
Catering is provided A wide range
of Menus are available, not just the examples below. The sit down fine dining menus are ideal for
up to 12 people dining in comfort round the table on the aft deck. For
larger groups, choose from the buffet style or cocktail menus. BYO
catering is available by verbal request only and not on all dates. There is a
large bbq on the aft deck. If you choose to BYO, you are responsible
for serving and clearing up of food plus removal of all rubbish at the end
of the charter

Alcohol Quality
bottled Australian champagne, red and white wine together with beer and
soft drinks served throughout the charter for just $10 inc GST per person
per hour This price includes service, ice and high quality
plastic glasses. With BYO drink you need to serve yourselves (or pay
for waiters) and bring your own ice. Eskies
are available on board for clients to use for their drinks. Pls note
that if you BYO drink, you are not allowed to load or remove alcohol at
either The Opera House Steps or Darling Harbour. This restriction
applies to all yachts.
Operating
Hours We
operate in the evening up to 1AM
Lunch charters are generally 11am - 3pm or 12 to 4pm.
Dinner charters are available from 6pm.
Children -
welcome but responsibility is totally the parents.
CD player -
there is a great CD sound system. There is a large selection of CD's
(list available) and guests are welcome to bring their favourite CD's.
